Vehicle Fire On Interstate 80 Closes Lanes In Morris County

According to the authorities, traffic congestion is causing a delay of close to 30 minutes.

MORRIS COUNTY, NJ — A car has ignited into flames on Interstate 80, causing traffic delays in surrounding areas, according to authorities.

According to Charles Marchan from the New Jersey State Police Public Information Unit, a dump truck caught fire west of Exit 42—US 202/Littleton Road, near Parsippany-Troy Hills.

There were no injuries reported, and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined, Marchan said.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, traffic in the surrounding areas is backed up, with a current travel time of 25 to 30 minutes.
