Water May Still Be Cloudy After Parsippany Pipe Break Repairs, Police Say
Hunting Ridge Development and surrounding area most impacted, authorities said.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – An hours-long water main break overnight in Parsippany has led to residual effects Wednesday, as residents in certain areas of town may experience cloudiness in their water, police said.
The break occurred late Tuesday on Route 46 between ShopRite and North Beverwyck Road, closing both streets during repairs. The fix wasn’t completed until after 8 a.m. Wednesday morning.
As a result, however, residents in the Hunting Ridge Development and surrounding areas may experience cloudiness in their water. If this occurs, police said, residents should run the cold tap water until it turns clear, then can use the clear liquid for consumption.
