What Is This Carving Found In The Pequannock River?
Officials aren't sure what exactly they uncovered in the Pequannock River.

BLOOMINGDALE, NJ — What is this strange carved stone that was found in the Pequannock River? Local officials aren't sure what they've discovered, and are looking for answers.
The carving, which appears to show a person wearing some type of a religious head piece, was found in Sloan Park underneath the river bed, officials said. They're stumped on its origins.
Mayor Jon Dunleavy told the Daily Record some local historians are looking into what this could be.
