Whiz Kids: Par High Academic Decathlon Team Is Tops In N.J.

PARSIPPANY, N.J. – They came, they answered, they conquered.

The Parsippany High School Academic Decathlon team won the New Jersey State Competition at Ramapo High School recently and punched their ticket to the National Competition in Anchorage, Alaska.

The team took home 109 awards from the regional and state competitions.

The full team includes nine members and seven alternates. The nine members are Will Chen, Anne Cheng, Joyce David, Miki Hansen, Rohan Khajuria, Nikita Kolotov, Hugh Kwong, Katherine Yang, and Adam Ye.

This year’s 10-event scholastic competition theme is India.
