Boy Hurt In Point Pleasant Halloween Parade Accident Released From Hospital
The investigation in the Oct. 30 accident is continuing, police say.

A six-year-old boy who was injured when a tire on a float at the Point Pleasant Halloween Parade rolled over onto him has been released from Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.
The boy spent several days in the intensive care unit at the Neptune hospital after the accident happened on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Bridge and Barton avenues, police said.
The boy and his mother were associated with the Girl Scouts of America float in the parade when the accident happened, Lokerson said.

Officer Loren MacIver is conducting the investigation, Lokerson said.
