Bucket Truck Tips Toward Home As Ground Sinks In Point Pleasant
A tree service was trying to remove a tree from the property when the ground gave way, Point Pleasant Police said.
POINT PLEASANT, NJ — A tree company's bucket truck tipped toward a home in Point Pleasant on Tuesday when the ground beneath the truck gave way, police said.
The tree company was removing a tree from the back yard of a home on Academy Drive, Capt. Christopher Leonhardt said, when the ground gave.
That caused the truck to tip and the boom lift hit the side of the house, causing minor damage to the siding, Leonhardt said. The truck did not fall completely over, he said.
