Coast Guard Property, Town Budget Talk And More Set For Point Pleasant Beach Meeting
A town hall meeting is set for Saturday with a lengthy topic list, and Point Pleasant Beach residents and nonresidents are urged to attend.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Point Pleasant Beach officials are hosting a "town hall" public meeting on Saturday to discuss plans for the Coast Guard property, flooding and other issues, Mayor Doug Vitale said.
The meeting of the Point Pleasant Beach Non-Resident Advisory Committee is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Antrim School, 401 Niblick St., and is open to taxpayers, both nonresidents and residents. People are encouraged to attend and ask questions, officials said.
The topics expected to be discussed include Vitale's vision for the town, the Channel Drive property, the downtown area, safety in the schools, a real estate update, and property taxes and the town budget in addition to the Coast Guard property and flooding, officials said.

The speakers will include Vitale, Council President Mike Ramos, representatives from the police and fire departments, the first aid squad, the borough administrator and town engineer, a code enforcement official, real estate agents and representatives of Jenkinson's, officials said.
"Show your community spirit, come listen and be heard," officials said.
