Thinking about dumping leaves into Point Pleasant lagoons?

Don't.

Police have received complaints about leaves being blown into lagoon areas, Capt. Robert Lokerson said.

"Residents, homeowners and contractors are reminded that dumping leaves or other debris into the waterways violates the Borough Ordinance," Lokerson said.

Anyone observing a violation is requested to contact the Point Pleasant Police Department at 732-892-0060 or ask for the TIPS line to remain anonymous.
