Election 2021: Vote-By-Mail Drop Box Located In Point Boro
The drop-off box at the Point Pleasant Borough branch of the Ocean County Library is one of 19 across Ocean County.

POINT PLEASANT, NJ – According to Ocean County officials, Point Pleasant-area voters have a drop-off box where they can place the mail-in ballots for the upcoming election.
The drop-off box is located at the Ocean County Library on 834 Beaver Dam Road in Point Pleasant Borough and is one of 19 located across Ocean County.
According to the Ocean County Board of election’s website, the last day that the county can receive a Vote by Mail application is Oct. 26 and the last day to get a vote-by-mail ballot is Nov. 1 at 3 p.m.

Both Point Plesant Beach and Point Pleasant Borough have contested borough council and school board races this November.
In the Beach, three candidates are running for two seats on the borough council, Republican candidates Michael Ramos and Rosa Crowley and current councilman Andy Cortes, running as an independent.

For the Point Beach Board of Education, current Board of Education members Stacey McGlinchy, and James Ireland are running against John Durante and Elizabeth Boyle.
In the Boro, there are two races for council seats. The first sees four people are running for two open three-year terms on the borough council; current council members William Borowsky and Council President Antoinette DePaola facing off with Democratic challengers Wayne Martiak and Derek Reichenbecher. Current councilwoman Valerie Coulson is running unopposed for an unexpired two-year term.
The race for the three seats on the Boro school board has nine candidates: the three incumbents, William Munn, John Florio, and Larry Williams, who are challenged by Dawn Coughlan, Emily Seim, Katharine Vaccarella, Christine Newitts, Kenneth Polakowski, and Peter Hetzel.
