Family Fishing Night to be Held Sat. in Point Beach

"The first one was so nice, we had to do it twice!"

That's the sentiment of Michael Ramos and the Point Beach Recreation Committee who are holding the season's second Family Fishing Night at Loughran's Point on the Manasquan Inlet, Point Beach, from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday.

As always, the committee is asking participants to walk or bike to the site since parking is extremely limited.

, Bay Avenue, Point Beach, is again donating food.

, on the inlet, is again offering discounts for pole rentals and staff will also be giving fishing tips to participants during the evening.

There will also be raffles and prizes.
