Four Vying For Two, Three-Year Terms On The Point Pleasant Council

Two Republicans, one Democrat file to run for seats in Point Pleasant Beach.

Four residents are running for the two, three-year terms up on the Point Pleasant Borough Council.

Republicans Pamala Snyder, 1736 Bay Island Drive and John Wisniewski, 821 Rosewood Avenue, are unopposed in Tuesday's primary.

Also running for the seats are Democrats Peter Hagemeyer, 609 Hardenberg Avenue, and Dere Reichanbecher, 557 Summit Drive. They are also unopposed in the primary election.

Only one Democrat is running for one of the two, three-year terms available on the Point Pleasant Beach Borough Council, so barring any massive write-ins in November, either Republican incumbent Thomas Migut, 1601 or Paul Kanitra have already won the seat.
