Here's How Point Pleasant Beach Is Extending Beach Season

Point Pleasant Beach and Jenkinson's have some plans for extending the beach season.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH – Local beaches have some plans for extending the beach season, knowing that people will still want to swim if the weather is nice.

Mayor Paul Kanitra said badges from Maryland Avenue will be accepted at Bradshaw’s if people are looking for a guarded beach.

Also, at Jenkinson's, the beach will be open daily though Sunday, weather permitting.

Jenkinson's reminded people about the local cooler policy: No coolers larger than 13 inches in width, length or height will be permitted on the beach.
