Hydrant Flushing Underway In Point Pleasant Beach

POINT PLEASANT BEACH – Hydrant flushing is underway in Point Pleasant Beach, so you may experience discoloration of your water.
The Point Pleasant Beach Water Department will be conducting a flushing of its distribution system beginning this week. This is part of the continuing effort to deliver the best quality water possible, officials said.
The flushing began Monday and will last through Friday, Oct. 16the.
The flushing will be underway from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays only.
You may experience temporary low pressure or discoloration during the flushing period.
