A Letter To The Editor From Borough Council Candidate Peter Hagemeyer

New ideas needed for local government, he says.

A Letter to the Editor from Point Pleasant Council candidate Peter Hagemeyer

Our council in Point Pleasant has done a great job managing our town. However, even the best of teams need to be maintained and have their talent refreshed! New team members bring new ideas, goals and involve additional citizens with local government.

My name is Peter Hagemeyer and I have been a resident of Point Pleasant for 13 years. I am a husband and parent to three beautiful children. I understands the challenges ahead and want to bring my engineering expertise and common sense to the council, and help the team make our town more "pleasant" and affordable for years to come.

I want to bring balance and diversity to the council. I will fight to put Point Pleasant's families first in all town legislation, stem the steady rise in taxation, and promote pedestrian and bicycle safety.
