Man Who Stabbed Point Pleasant Man 90 Times Calls Victim "An Ass" Before Being Sentenced To 30 Years
Anthony Strong gets 30 years in state prison

TOMS RIVER, NJ - A Point Pleasant Beach man who stabbed a halfway house neighbor more than 90 times back in October 2015 will spend the next 30 years in state prison, with no possibility of parole, according to a report in app.com.
Anthony Strong - who had to be removed from Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels courtoom Friday after he uttered an expletive at Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Laura Pierro - was asked by Daniels if he had a statement.
“To be honest, if he wasn’t an ass**** and done what he did to me, he’d still be alive," Strong, 26, said of the victim.

Strong murdered Frank Campagna, 41, in a Point Pleasant Beach halfway house apartment by stabbing him 90 times, after an argument while they were watching football, authorities have said.
Campagna was nearly decapitated in the attack. His family members were in the courtroom on Friday and spoke about Campagna.

"This was not just a murder," Pierro said. "This was overkill."
