Point Beach Bike Bash Accepting Registrations

Registrations must be turned in by Monday for kids to be eligible for prizes.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, NJ — Point Pleasant Beach children are invited to bring their bicycles and helmets to the Point Beach Bike Bash on Saturday, May 11.

The event, a bike safety rodeo, is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grades. Permission slips, which are available at the police department, are required for children to participate.

The bike safety rodeo is free and is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Silver Lake parking lot.

There will be bike safety information, a bike skills course, bike repair, a BMX demonstration, food, prizes and much more.

Permission slips/registration forms must be returned by Monday, April 22, to be eligible for prize drawings. Kids can also participate in the event on the day itself.
