POINT PLEASANT BORO – The Point Pleasant Boro boys varsity soccer team will have to quarantine for 14 days after they were possibly exposed to COVID-19.

On Monday, Point Boro's athletic supervisor was notified by Lakewood that an athlete on Lakewood's team tested positive, officials said. The positive test came after Point Boro competed against them on Oct. 14th.

"As I have said to you many times before, it is the responsibility of the entire community to communicate any positive cases or exposures," Superintendent Vincent Smith said. "The health and safety fo the Point Pleasant schools and community continues to be our top priority."
