Point Pleasant Police Charge Three Women With Promoting Prostitution

Arrests occurred at A&A Therapy on Route 88.

Point Pleasant police recently arrested three woman for promoting prostitution after an investigation that lasted over several months, Capt. Robert Lokerson said

Police began the investigation after they received complaints about suspicious activities at A&A Therapy at 2608, he said.

Detective David Scalabrini charged both Shunjin Li of Flushing, New York with promoting prostitution and Guihua Zhu of Flushing, New York with promoting prostitution and violating a borough ordinance for engaging in massage therapy without a license on Oct. 4. Both Zhu and Li who were employees were released on a summons pending court, Lokerson said.

Scalabrini later charged Guizhen Wu of Galloway, New Jersey with promoting prostitution and maintaining a nuisance on Oct. 18. Wu is the owner of A&A Therapy, he said.
