Point Pleasant School District Prepping For High School Graduation on Friday

The Point Pleasant school district will hold its high school graduation ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Friday evening, according to the district website.

The ceremony will be held at Al Saner field. In case of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be held indoors in the Middle School gym.

Seniors must report to the Loren Donley auditorium by 5:45 p.m.

School administrators ask that guests refrain from walking on the new turf field in high heels because it could damage the turf.

"Please join us in preparing for a joyful but dignified commencement," school administrators said in a letter. "We encourage you to clap and cheer for your son/daughter. However, please do not bring air horns or other noisemakers. They interfere with spectators' ability to hear the ceremony,especially when names are announced."
