Reminder: Meet New Point Boro H.S. Principal Tonight
Kurt Karcich began his new job duties on Aug. 1

parents and other residents are invited to meet the new Borough High School principal tonight.
The informal meet and greet with Kurt Karcich is scheduled for 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the high school's media center. He officially began his new job duties on Aug. 1.
Schools Superintendent Vincent Smith is encouraging the community to attend the event.

“I encourage all high school parents, staff and members of the PTO or Booster Clubs to come and meet the newest member of Point Pleasant Borough Schools’ Administrative team," Smith said.
Karcich, 41, was hired at an annual salary of $151,500 by a unanimous vote of the Point Pleasant Board of Education at a special meeting on July 2. Karcich had worked as principal of Paramus High School before starting in this position.
