Yes
What does the nominee do for work?:
RN, has two small children, still goes to school to become a nurse practitioner and has been on our hometown First Aid squad since she was 16 years old and still serves.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Her life started with being 16 weeks premature, she was two pounds, two ounces, 12 inches long. She actually cried when I gave birth! Thirty years ago, well, we were never sure what to expect. She surprised everyone and exceeded beyond any of our expectations. She was brought up by a single mother (me) and always did the right thing. She's now married with two beautiful daughters (and) she knows that there is no limit to her accomplishments! Laci has a severely handicapped brother who has looked up to her since day one!! She is a fighter, a protector with a kind soul. She joined our local First AideSquad at 16 (after her mama – I was with them for 7 years). She leads a very very hectic life with being an RN, still schooling to become a nurse practitioner and has two little ones to raise. Laci will always thrive and care about what matters most: people and their health, body and mind. As her Mom, I could go on, after all, I am her mom.
I do know from the minute she took her first breath she has never given up or let anything stand in her way, God Bless her – she will forever change lives! This I know.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She is a true soul who would go above and beyond for anyone.
Thank you for all you do!
