Where To See Santa In The Point Pleasant Area This Christmas Season

POINT PLEASANT, NJ — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Point Pleasant and Point Pleasant Beach, kids have several chances:

On Saturday, Dec. 2, there's Brunch with Santa at Pop's Corner, 500 Arnold Ave., Point Pleasant Beach, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Also on Saturday, Dec. 2, Point Pleasant Borough will hold its Christmas tree lighting and Market in the Park at Community Park at Beaver Dam Road and Bridge Avenue. Santa Claus is scheduled to make an appearance at the event, which begins at 4 p.m.

On Sunday, Dec. 3, the Point Pleasant Fire Department Station 75 will host free photos with Santa from noon to 2 p.m. at the fire house on Beaver Dam Road. Bring your camera as there will not be a photographer on site. Donations to the fire company are welcomed.

On Sunday, Dec. 10, it's Brunch with Santa at the Lobster Shanty, 83 Channel Drive, Point Pleasant Beach. There are two seatings, 10:30 a.m. and noon; tickets are required. Call 732-899-6700

Also on Sunday, Dec. 10, Santa is scheduled to make a stop at the Point Pleasant Beach Recreation Committee's Winter Wonderland. It's set for 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at Pleasure Park.

On Saturday, Dec. 16, have Brunch with Santa at Round Dough with A Hole, 400 Richmond Ave., Point Pleasant Beach, from 9 a.m.-noon.

On Saturday, Dec. 23, check out Brunch with Santa at Boatyard 401, 401 Broadway, Point Pleasant Beach, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

At the Ocean County Mall, Santa is sitting for photos through Dec. 23. There is a special session set aside on Dec. 3 for those with special needs, and you can reserve photos with Santa for your pets. There also is a cookies with Santa event. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve, including at the Atlantic City store. Reservations are encouraged.

Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. Santa will be at Macy's in Philadelphia through Dec. 24. Reservations are required.

JC Penney stores, including the store at Ocean County Mall in Toms River, are offering professional portraits with Santa. The Toms River store is offering them Nov. 27 and Dec. 22. The JC Penney at Freehold Raceway Mall is offering the portraits with Santa on Dec. 15.
