William Edward Dillon Jr, 59, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016.
He was born and raised in Point Pleasant. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School and was a lifelong resident.

William was a carpenter and a member of NJ Carpenter's Union Local #255. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his friends watching sporting events.
William was predeceased by his father William Edward Dillon Sr.; his mother Ann Wilbert Dillon Fitzgerald; and his stepfather Walter E. Fitzgerald. He is survived by his son, William Edward Dillon III; his step- daughter Tifany Patterson; his brothers and sisters in-law Charles and Barbara Dillon and Patrick and Leslie Dillon; his sisters and brothers-in-law Nora and John Kolmer; Mary and Robert Polizzotto; Eileen and Timothy Dwyer; Casey Dillon Kennedy; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A viewing will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a service at 7 p.m. on Friday at Van Hise and Callagan Funeral Home, 812 Arnold Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Ocean County Animal Shelter.
