Celebrating Love & Identity: Princeton Pride 2024 Photos

People braved the excessive heat warning to participate in the Princeton Pride Parade on Saturday. Here are some photos:

PRINCETON, NJ — Despite the excessive heat warning, folks came out to celebrate Princeton Pride Parade on Saturday, in a celebration of love and identity.

The first-ever LGBTQIA Pride was held in 2019 in Princeton, and since then it has only grown bigger.

The parade kicked off from the steps of the Princeton Municipal Building on 400 Witherspoon Street.

Dressed in their sparkly and colorful best, attendees marched down the street, flooding the road with cheer, flags and lots of color.

The parade was hosted by the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, a dedicated queer safe space, community activist hub, and educational bridge for LGBTQIA youth, intersectional families, and all marginalized individuals and groups.

The parade saw several local dignitaries, lawmakers and common folk in attendance.
