Unlocked Range Rover With Keys Inside Stolen On Christmas Day In Princeton
A burglar also reportedly cut a window screen open to break into the home and steal jewelry in Princeton, according to the police blotter.
PRINCETON, NJ — A car theft, home burglary, DWI arrest, and more were reported recently in Princeton, according to the police blotter.
On Dec. 25 at 7:42 a.m., patrols responded to a home on Prospect Avenue on a report of a motor vehicle theft.
The victim reported that his white 2023 Range Rover, which was parked unsecured with the ignition key inside the vehicle, was stolen from his driveway by three unknown suspects.

In reviewing exterior home surveillance footage, the theft occurred on Dec. 25 at 11:46 p.m., along with the burglary of another unsecured vehicle belonging to the victim, a black 2025 Porsche. One of the suspects unlawfully entered this vehicle, but nothing was missing.
The value of the stolen vehicle is estimated to be $125,000.

On Dec. 26 at 4:19 p.m., the stolen vehicle was recovered by the Bordentown Township Police. The vehicle was subsequently towed back to Princeton Police headquarters for processing of evidence.
The suspects are described as:
- Suspect 1: An unknown person wearing a light hooded sweatshirt.
- Suspect 2: A Hispanic or Black man, wearing a light hooded zip-up sweatshirt, white t-shirt, black vest, gray pants, black shoes.
- Suspect 3: An unknown individual and unknown physical description.
The incident remains under investigation.

On Dec. 16 at 10:41 p.m.: Patrols responded to a restaurant located on Palmer Square East. An employee reported that her brown vintage leather jacket with fur trim, valued at around $150, had been taken from a coat rack inside the restaurant during her shift. An investigation determined that surveillance footage captured a white woman suspect removing the jacket and exiting the restaurant with several other people. Further investigation led officers to identify the table associated with the suspect through a credit card transaction. A man was contacted and ultimately admitted to having the stolen jacket. The man reported that a close family member had taken the jacket but refused to provide the person's identity or contact information. The man agreed to return the jacket to the police at a later date. The investigation remains ongoing.
On Dec. 18 at 1 p.m.: After a motor vehicle stop on Mount Lucas Road after seeing a vehicle improperly pass another vehicle by crossing a double yellow line, the driver, Nicholas Horace, 34, of Trenton, was found to have six active warrants issued by the Long Beach Township, Hamilton Township, and Trenton Municipal Courts, totaling $3,416.67. Horace was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters for processing. Horace was later released on his own recognizance by the respective courtsand issued new court dates. Before his release, Horace was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while suspended, failure to possess a driver’s license, and improper passing. Horace was released from police custody without incident.
On Dec. 19 at 8:03 a.m.: Patrols responded to an address on Valley Road for a report of a past-theft by deception. An investigation determined that in September 2024, the office was the victim of a compromised email scheme in which an unknown person fraudulently impersonated a security vendor. As a result, three wire transfers totaling around $178,803.57 were sent to an unauthorized bank account. There are no known suspects at this time, and the investigationremains ongoing.
On Dec. 20 at 6:48 p.m.: Patrols responded to a report of a past-tense residential burglary at a home on Bertrand Drive. An investigation determined that an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the home on Dec. 20, between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., by cutting a kitchen window screen and forcing the window open. Once inside, multiple rooms throughout the residence were rummaged through. The homeowner reported that jewelry was taken. The total value of the stolen property and the cost of damage are unknown at this time. There are no suspects at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
On Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m.: Patrols responded to a business located on North Harrison Street, for a report of an attempted theft by deception. An employee reported receiving multiple phone calls from unknown people claiming to be coordinating a FedEx delivery. The callers requested that $1,960 be sent via a Western Uniontransaction. After the transaction was initiated, it was determined to be fraudulent. Representatives from Western Union were contacted and successfully canceled the transaction. No monetary loss was suffered by thebusiness. The incident is under investigation.
On Dec. 22 at 10:13 p.m.: After a motor vehicle stop on Nassau Street for speeding, the driver, Catherine Thomas, 61, of Lawrenceville, was found to be operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Thomas was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters for processing. Thomas was issued motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, speeding, and reckless driving. Thomas was later released into the custody of a sober adult.
On Dec. 27 at 2:28 a.m.: After a motor vehicle stop for speeding on Nassau Street, the driver, Tom Pinos-Ullauri, 29, of Cranbury, was found to be operating his motor vehicle while intoxicated. Pinos-Ullauri refused to exit the vehicle upon request and locked the doors to his vehicle in an attempt to avoid being removed from the vehicle. Pinos-Ullauri was ultimately placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters for processing. Pinos-Ullauri was issued several motor vehicle summonses for driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, careless driving, speeding, and obstructing the administrationof law. He was later released to the custody of a sober individual.
