Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.
Our school community is incredibly fortunate to have a true hometown hero like Bob. Not only does he serve as a dedicated crossing guard, keeping our children safe every single day, but he also pours his heart into our school as a beloved “Grandpal” volunteer. Many of the students know him not just as a friendly face at the crosswalk, but as a loving grandfather figure, since several of his own grandchildren attend Littlebrook. Bob goes above and beyond, giving his time to connect with students in meaningful ways — sharing stories, laughter, and wisdom that enrich their school experience. Beyond Littlebrook, he also volunteers with the local fire department, showing that his care for our community extends far beyond the school walls. Bob is kind, funny, and always ready to lend a helping hand. Whether he’s greeting families with a smile, comforting a child, or stepping up wherever there’s a need, he embodies what it means to be a true community hero. His generosity of spirit and dedication make Littlebrook — and all of Princeton — a better place.
