Palmer Square Princeton Announces Date For Annual Tree Lighting

Santa Claus is expected to help light the 32,000 twinkling lights on the giant spruce tree on Nov. 29.

PRINCETON, NJ — Now that Halloween is over, it's time to welcome the Holiday season.

Princeton's Palmer Square announced the dates for the annual Tree Lighting ceremony. Festivities will begin Nov. 29, at 2:30 p.m. on the Green. Ice Sculpture Philly will carve a baby grand piano out of ice.

As dusk falls, these frosty works of art will set the stage for The Flying Ivories to perform.

At 5 p.m. the lighting officially begins. There will be a concert from the BSTREETBAND.

Look out for special appearances from the Princeton High School Choir, and Santa Claus is expected to help light the 32,000 twinkling lights on the giant spruce tree.
