Princeton Area Youth Light Up McCarter Theatre In ‘A Christmas Carol’

PRINCETON, NJ – There is no dearth of talent in town and Mercer County. And if you need proof, just head to McCarter Theatre to witness the brilliance of young people on stage.

Nine talented residents from Mercer County are members of McCarter Theatre’s Youth Ensemble. And they are responsible for lighting up the stage in McCarter Theatre Center’s annual holiday tradition, “A Christmas Carol”, adapted and directed by Lauren Keating, and featuring Joel McKinnon Miller (of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" fame) reprising his widely acclaimed performance as Ebenezer Scrooge.

Three of the youth performers are from Princeton - Ethan Lee, Ezra Cayton-Hodges and Caryna Desai Shah. Other members include Zayda Knowles of Trenton, Alesiandra Nikezi of Hopewell, Addison Hall from Ewing, Mikayla Irene from Pennington, Skarlett Rose Willis of Belle Mead and Rafaella Mousa from Hamilton.

If you’ve missed out on their performances, it’s not too late. “A Christmas Carol” runs through Dec. 29.

• Saturday, Dec. 28 - 1 p.m. & 5:30 p.m.
