Princeton Borough Police Log, Feb. 4-5

Incidents include two arrests for driving while intoxicated.

 

A 66-year-old Princeton resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Saturday after Princeton Borough Police stopped a motor vehicle on Nassau Street because the driver allegedly failed to keep right.

Bernard Shihar, of Springwood Court, was arrested, charged and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13.

The incident happened on Saturday at 1:43 a.m.

A 32-year-old Mommouth resident was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday after Princeton Borough Police conducted an investigation of a vehicle blocking the entrance to the Park Place parking lot.

An investigation showed that the driver had both a suspended driver’s license and vehicle registration.

The driver, Scott Conover, of Elm Court, was also found to be intoxicated, according to police. He was arrested, charged and released.He is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13.

The incident happened on Sunday at 12:12 a.m.
