Santarpio, Franceschi, Meisel Lead Princeton BOE Race: Unofficial Results

PRINCETON, NJ - With 17 out of 20 districts reporting, three candidates have emerged frontrunners in the tightly contested Princeton Board of Education race.

This election cycle, six candidates were vying for three open seats on the school board - Christopher Santarpio, Z. Lisa Potter, Mara Franceschi, Shenwei Zhao, Ari Meisel and Erica Snyder.

As of 11:45 p.m. Santarpio, Franceschi and Meisel were leading the race with 4,398, 5,077 and 4,217 votes respectively. Erica Snyder comes in a close 4th with 4,093 votes.

  • Mara Franceschi - 5,077 (20.71%)
  • Shenwei Zhao - 2,751 (11.22%)
  • Ari Meisel -4,217 (17.21%)
  • Erica Snyder - 4,093 (16.70%)

The official results of the 2024 General Election shall be certified by the County Board of Canvassers on or before November 20, 2024
