Princeton Township Police Log Feb 8-9

Incidents include possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and a motor vehicle accident with related criminal charges.

 

A Princeton woman and three juveniles were arrested Feb. 8 and each charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia, according to Princeton Township Police.

The incident happened at 9:45 p.m.

Police patrols found a parked vehicle in Hilltop Park on Bunn Drive after hours, along the owner, Margaret Matthews, 18, of William Livingston Court, and three juveniles.

An investigation found that all four were in possession of suspected marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were each placed under arrest, processed and released.

A 30-year-old Ewing man was arrested and faces multiple charges following a motor vehicle accident on Cherry Valley Road early on Feb. 9.

Shortly after 1 a.m., Montgomery Township Police contacted Princeton Township police about an accident that happened in Princeton, in the 700 block of Cherry Valley Road.

An investigation showed that the driver, Jason S. Chytraus, 30, of Harding Avenue, Ewing, drove off the road and hit an embankment. His vehicle was damaged and Chytraus suffered injuries to his left leg and head. 

Police determined that Chytraus had been driving while intoxicated. He was also found to have drugs in his possession. 

He was treated for his injuries at University Medical Center at Princeton and discharged to police. He was released on $7,500 bail.
