Princeton's McCarter Theatre To Host Celebration Of Lindy Hop, Jazz
The program on Friday will feature 12 all-star swing dancers and a live 10-piece big band.

PRINCETON, NJ — McCarter Theatre Center is hosting a celebration of Lindy Hop and live Jazz on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
They will host SW!NG OUT, a critically acclaimed swing dance performance choreographed and directed by Caleb Teicher. This production, accompanied by live music from Eyal Vilner’s 10-piece Big Band, features 12 world-class swing dancers, bringing their style to the stage in a celebration of America’s favorite partnered dance.
“SW!NG OUT has been a dream project for me, bringing together 12 all-star swing dancers and a live 10-piece big band to celebrate Lindy Hop in a way that resonates with audiences everywhere,” Teicher said in a statement.

“We aim to share the joy and energy of Lindy Hop with a broader audience. Each night, the performance concludes with an on-stage jam session, welcoming attendees to join in and celebrate the dance with us,” adds Teicher.
This showcase not only highlights the beauty of Lindy Hop but also serves as a testament to the power of collaboration in dance.
“Collaboration is at the heart of what we do in SW!NG OUT. It’s about creating an environment where each dancer can showcase their unique style while contributing to a collective experience that is both exhilarating and inclusive,” Teicher said.
