The 125-foot pedestrian bridge across Stony Brook in Princeton Township was reset on Thursday, Feb. 9 and is available for pedestrians and cyclists to use, Princeton Township Engineering Assistant Anthony Soriano reports.Â
The bridge, which was completd in February, 2010, was displaced during Hurricane Irene in August, 2011.Â
The bridge was one of the missing links that connects pathways throughout Princeton, allowing cyclists and pedestrians to travel from the Princeton Battlefield and Institute Woods area to Mountain Lakes Preserve and Woodfield Reservation, according to Friends of Princeton Open Space.
