Trenton Woman Charged with Shoplifting $145 from CVS Pharmacy on Nassau Street

A 29-year-old Trenton woman was arrested on Monday after Princeton Borough Police claim she was shoplifting at CVS Pharmacy on Nassau Street, fled with approximately $145 worth of merchandise and then gave police false information about her identity.
Latoya Snell, 29, was arrested and charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension. She was committed to Mercer County Corrections Center on $2500 bail.Â

The incident happened shortly after 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30.Â
Police responded to the CVS at 172 Nassau Street for a report of shoplifting in progress. By the time police arrived, Snell had left and patrols stoped her vehicle on Moore Street. Police said an investigation revealed that Snell shoplifted about $145 worth of merchandise and provided officers with false information as to her identity.Â

The stolen items were recovered.Â
Snell is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 6.
