PRINCETON, NJ — Christmas is quickly approaching, and for those looking for a live tree to decorate, there are plenty of options in and around the Princeton area.

Shoppers have the option to choose between a cut-your-own tree or a pre-cut tree.

Choose-and-cut:

• Lazy Susan Tree Farm, Robbinsville - Beginning on Friday, Nov. 28 and every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Country Christmas Weekends at Alstede Farms, 1 Alstede Farms Lane, Chester. Cut Your Own Trees, Tractor-Drawn Wagon Rides, Seasonal Food & Drinks, Festive Photo Ops, Pre-Cut Tree & Holiday Decor Marketplace, and Cozy Farm Store Finds. Select weekends in November and December.

Seasonal lot:

• Carriage Farm, 2 Clerico Lane, Hillsborough - 5th Annual Flounder’s Kringle Market, presented in part by Visit Somerset. Carriage Farm transforms into Central Jersey’s premier holiday market with 45+ hand-picked crafters, food vendors, and roasted nuts, all surrounding the Central Jersey Nurseries Christmas tree lot with trees and wreaths for sale. Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 20 and Sunday, Dec. 21.
