Don Bosco Outdoes Ridgewood in County Semifinals

Ridgewood played host to Don Bosco on Thursday night in the semifinals of the 2013 Bergen County Lacrosse Tournament, losing 11-5. In the end, the Ironmen's offensive firepower could not be suppressed by the Maroons.

As the No. 3 seed in the tournament, Ridgewood tied the game 2-2 in the second quarter and the intensity picked up. Don Bosco, the No. 2 seed, went on a 3-goal run before halftime and never looked back.

Bergen Catholc disposed of Pascack Valley, 14-4 in their round of the semifinals.

This sets up an exciting No. 1, Bergen Catholic, versus No. 2, Don Bosco, in the Bergen County Tournament Finals. The game is set to take place at 5 p.m. at Mahawah High School on Saturday.
