'Elaborate' Marijuana Grow House Discovered In Hackensack: Police
The operation was in the house's basement, police said.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Police discovered an "elaborate" marijuana growing operating in Hackensack Thursday, authorities said.
Detective Sgt. John Dalton of the Hackensack Police Department's Narcotics Bureau received an anonymous tip regarding a marijuana grow house, said Capt. Peter Busciglio.
Police began an investigation, which led them to the residence. They found the growing operation in the basement and the marijuana was eradicated, Busciglio said.

Police would not release the exact location of the house because it may impede their ongoing investigation, Busciglio said.
