Ramsey Farmers' Market Reopens to Rave Reviews [VIDEO]
Organizers say as many as 2,500 people visited the market on its opening day.
The Ramsey Farmers’ Market is back in full swing, and visitors from across the area stopped by Sunday to pick up some fresh fruits and veggies, plants, pastas, desserts, quiches, and other locally-made or locally-grown goods.
Put on by the Ramsey Historical Association, the Market started its fourth summer season at the Main Street Train Station Sunday. Local shoppers and vendors said they have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the market, which closed its indoor winter market in March.
“I come here all the time,” Mahwah resident Joyce Raia, who stopped by the market Sunday, said. “It’s just a family-friendly place with great food.”

Market Coordinator and RFM volunteer Nancy Boone estimated about 2,000 to 2,500 people stopped by the market on opening day.
“It’s just a lot of fun, and we are so pleased with the results this year,” Boone said. “I think it’s a great thing for Ramsey, both for people in town, and for visitors, to come by the market, walk up and down Main Street and visit our other businesses in town. We are really excited for everything happening this season.”
