Ramsey Seniors Plan Outing, Picnic and More in September
Senior citizens in town are invited to take part in a full schedule of events this September.

There will be a bus trip to the Storms King Arts Center in New Windsor, NY on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Enjoy 500 acres of pristine landscape which provides the setting for a collection of more than 100 sculptures created by some of the most acclaimed artists of our time.
Begin the day with an early lunch at Torches on the Hudson, followed by a short walking tour around Museum Hill. Board the tram and view the beautiful sculpture garden. Sign up at borough hall. Price is $55 payable to Ramsey Seniors.
The Ramsey Seniors will have a booth at the Ramsey Day event on Saturday, Sept. 7. Visit the Crafty Knitters for a chance to win a beautiful afghan and help these loyal ladies to continue knitting items for our veterans.
The annual Picnic at the Pool will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 12 noon. Shop Rite is providing a menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, salads, beverage and dessert. Ramsey seniors over the age of 60 are invited to attend. Join the fun and meet your neighbors. Sign up now at the borough hall. Price is only $5 per person.
Tai Chi beginners are welcome to an Open House experience on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 2:30 p.m. If interested, there will be eight sessions beginning the following week at 1 p.m. Sign up at borough Hall. Price is $10. Experienced Tai Chi and Fan will meet at 2 p.m. for their weekly session beginning Thursday, Sept. 12 at 2 p.m. Price is $15.
Pickleball players are having so much fun they are now playing on Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at the Ramsey Tennis Courts. Stop by and watch what is going on in town.
The Bocce Boys are in need of some new players. They meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at the Ramsey Pool courts at 10 a.m. They invite any resident to join their group for some friendly outdoor exercise.
