RAMSEY, NJ — Ramsey students' SAT scores rank near the top of the average scores across New Jersey, information released by the New Jersey Department of Education shows.
The average SAT score in Ramsey for the 2017-18 school year was 1176, or 58th highest in New Jersey out of 307 districts.
For the math portion of the exam, Ramsey's average score was 586, good for 62nd highest.

For the reading and writing portion, the average Ramsey score was 590, or 53rd highest in New Jersey.
The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. The reports include figures on enrollment, proficiency scores, PARCC scores, graduation rates and SAT scores.
