Smoke Inhalation, Burns Killed Talina Court Woman

A report from the medical examiner's office ruled the Ramsey resident's death accidental.

A Ramsey woman found inside her borough home after a fire Wednesday morning died “as a result of smoke inhalation and burns,” according to a release from the Rockland County Office of the Medical Examiner.

Sallie Brady, a 47-year-old borough resident, was found unconscious on the couch in her Talina Court home’s living room by responding Ramsey firefighters Wednesday morning. She was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY, where she was pronounced dead.

According to the medical examiner’s initial release Thursday, heart disease also contributed to Brady’s death.
