• 12 NJ Towns Waive $150 Carry Permit Fee After Rights Push (thetruthaboutguns.com) — Readington is now one of 12 New Jersey towns waiving the $150 local portion of the concealed carry permit fee, significantly lowering costs for residents who apply. The move follows pressure from gun-rights groups and a recent court ruling that struck down the state-level $50 fee, meaning many applicants in Readington and elsewhere can now obtain permits at far lower cost.
