RED BANK, NJ — The Count Basie Center for the Arts will host the inaugural NJ Hispanic Film Festival as part of Hispanic Heritage Month this October.

From Oct. 4 through Oct. 6, the event will bring filmmakers, community members and organizations together to showcase the richness and diversity of Hispanic experiences through film.

“I am deeply passionate about diverse storytelling, particularly stories that reflect the Hispanic and Latin American communities,” said Carlos Medina, the president & CEO of the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey. “These are stories of perseverance, courage, and resilience that resonate with both Hispanic and non-Hispanic audiences.”
