Emergency Road Work Disrupts Test Pitting In Red Bank

RED BANK, NJ — Emergency road work on River Road has disrupted test pitting scheduled to take place in Red Bank, the borough said.
The emergency road work is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, officials said.
As a result, lead test pitting scheduled for Shrewsbury Ave., Broad St., Newman Springs Rd., Maple Ave., Chapin Ave. and Munson Pl. has been rescheduled, officials said.

Weather permitting, test pitting will resume on Monday, according to officials.
Due to this road work and for pedestrian safety, officials said there may be temporary road closures/blocked sidewalks. Sections of Shrewsbury Ave. and Newman Springs Road will be impacted, officials said.
