Howard H. Whitfield Masonic Scholarship is awarded to a college bound graduating high school senior from Red Bank Regional High School.

The Howard H. Whitfield Masonic Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of New Jersey, is now accepting applications.
The scholarship is awarded to a college bound graduating high school senior from Red Bank Regional High School who has achieved a cumulative 3.0 or better GPA.
Applicant will be evaluated on academic performance, extra-curricular activities, community service, work (paid or unpaid), and demonstrated unmet financial need.

The Howard Whitfield Masonic Scholarship honors the memory and life-long achievements of Howard Whitfield. Out of necessity, Mr. Whitfield began working at age 13 to earn a livelihood and though always desirous of obtaining a higher education in liberal arts and/or the sciences he was unable to complete his formal education. Because of his deep and abiding love for Red Bank and Monmouth County, during his lifetime Mr. Whitfield established a scholarship to assist graduates of Red Bank Regional High School to develop their potential, achieve their goal of obtaining a post-secondary education (undergraduate degree), and become successful and productive adults.
