Just a Little Taste from Kaboom

Following its kick-off celebration, the Kaboom Fireworks Committee put on a pint-sized fireworks show to whet the appetite.

As part of its kick-off celebration, the first of several fundraisers the Kaboom! Fireworks Committee will host to help raise the estimated $300,000 it will cost to put on this year’s show, the committee featured a roughly five-minute long fireworks display over the Navesink River.

Though immediate access to the show was limited to committee members, dignitaries, and those who forked over the $100 entry fee, anyone in the Red Bank area who bothered to look up at around 8:30pm could catch the show.

The ninth-annual kick-off event included a silent auction, live music, and food and drink from more than a dozen local eateries. Didn’t catch the fireworks? No problem, we’ve got video evidence that it went down. Check it out and get excited for this year’s July 3rd main event.
