This Monmouth County Borough Is The Most Peaceful Place In NJ, Report Says
In a report from TheTravel.com, travelers praised this Monmouth County location for its peaceful neighborhoods and walkable downtown area.
RED BANK, NJ — A Monmouth County borough has been named the most peaceful place in New Jersey, according to a report from The Travel.
In the list, compiled from travelers’ reviews on TripAdvisor, The Travel names the most peaceful locations in each state in the U.S.
In New Jersey, Red Bank took the title for the most peaceful place in the Garden State.

"Located on the southern bank of the Navesink River, Red Bank is notable for its local and renowned business brands...as well as events and festivals," the report said.
“Though it sounds bustling, Red Bank is praised for its peaceful residential neighborhoods, such as River Plaza, and its beautiful, walkable downtown, perfect for a gentle stroll and browsing,” the report continued. “Grab a cup of coffee in one of the town's many coffee shops and soak in the welcoming, friendly atmosphere.”

Named for the red soil along the Navesink River, Red Bank is known for its strong community and ties to music and the arts.
The borough is home to the Count Basie Center for the Arts (which puts on various performances and celebrations for the community and offers educational programming) as well as outdoor concert series such as Jazz at the Park.
Many NJ residents are also drawn to Red Bank for the borough’s many events and celebrations, including their annual Sidewalk Sale, the Indie Street Film Festival, and even a Mac & Cheese Festival.
In a statement from the borough, Red Bank officials said this recognition from TheTravel.com celebrates Red Bank’s “unique balance of riverfront beauty, cultural energy, and community charm.”
