Navesink River Road Closure Begins Today and Other Traffic Alerts This Week
The closure will take place beginning Thursday, August 21 at the NJ Transit crossing between Hubbard Ave. and Rt. 35 on Navesink River Road.

There will be a complete closure of Navesink River Road at the New Jersey Transit crossing between Hubbard Avenue and Route 35 beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 21.
This will be a 24-hour, 7-day-week closure for all vehicle traffic for approximately 10 days. This will not affect rail transportation but will affect Navesink River Road (Monmouth County Road 12A). Traffic will NOT be allowed to cross. NJ Transit must complete this emergency repair work before schools starts, officials say.

W. Front Street Work Continues
NJ Natural Gas continues to work 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday on W. Front St. between Half Mile Road and the W. Front St. bridge. Work is progressing, according to officials.
The W. Front St. bridge will also be reduced to one lane with alternating traffic on August 25 to August 27 for JCP&L work between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
