NJ Man Dies After Being Found In Shrewsbury River: NJ State Police
The man was pulled from the river around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, NJ State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.
SEA BRIGHT, NJ — A New Jersey man died after he was found in the Shrewsbury River on Sunday, NJ State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron told Patch.
Juan Mejia, 63, of Rumson, was pulled from the water Sunday night after troopers responded to a vessel incident on the river in Sea Bright around 10:45 p.m.
Once Mejia was recovered from the water, Lebron said he was brought to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigation into the incident is ongoing. As of Monday afternoon, NJ State Police said additional information is not available.
