Man Fatally Struck By Train In Red Bank, Rail Service Suspended
The man was struck and fatally injured around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, NJ Transit spokesman John Chartier said.

RED BANK, NJ — A man was struck and killed by an NJ Transit train at the Bridge Avenue-Monmouth Street crossing Tuesday afternoon, Red Bank Police Captain Michael Frazee said.
The man was hit around 2 p.m. on Tuesday by a North Jersey Coast Line train that was scheduled to arrive in Long Branch, NJ Transit spokesman John Chartier said.
There were no reported injuries to the 25 customers or crew on board the train, according to Chartier.

North Jersey Coast Line rail service has been temporarily suspended in both directions between Red Bank and Long Branch due to the incident.
NJ Transit police are currently on scene and leading an investigation into the matter, Chartier said.
